As part of the Council’s Intelligent Commissioning pilot on domestic violence, NEF Consulting worked with the Community Safety Partnership team to develop ‘common outcomes’ for survivors, perpetrators, children, young people and communities. Stakeholder engagement was conducted extensively through voluntary providers and a range of material outcomes were identified across prevention, early intervention and provision of services. NEF Consulting facilitated a number of prioritisation meetings with commissioners from across the Council’s services to determine the Commissioning Priorities, Service and Strategic Outcomes.
An action plan was subsequently drawn up and the Council is commissioning domestic violence services based on what matters to key stakeholders.
